she knows just when i need her the most. she knew i was going to write her today, so she decided to write to me first. that's mommy's little girl.. i love being first at things. i guess she does too.

normally i throw my receipts away without looking at them, into the trash right by the register.. but on the day that marks 4 months since kathlyn's death and birth (in that horribly wrong order), for whatever reason, i didnt throw it away. so as i ate my breakfast, i caught my baby's name out of the corner of my eye.... mommy loves you too, katie, i'm glad you are safe.
