i hate to blow her cliffhanger... but in jodi picoult's 2011 book... the baby dies.
she said she told me because of my experience. but she had to know i didnt sign anything saying i would keep my mouth shut :)
this sounds so terrible, but im SO GLAD the baby dies. obviously i would never say that about a real baby, but i am perfectly ok with a fictional baby dying, especially coming from a high profile NY times best selling author. if that's what it takes for people to realize how common it is. it won't quite be the same, if it's really placental abruption. most people have heard of that, and know how deadly it is. i wonder if i could convince her to write a book about a baby who dies for no reason in particular.
i hope to be reading this book in march 2011 (that's always the month her books come out), with an infant on my lap, or squeezing it in during nap times...
march 2, 2010 is when her newest book releases. not sure what it's about, but i never care. her books are always amazing. i hope to be reading THAT one with a growing belly...
