this picture was taken dec 19, 2008. i was 7 weeks. the u/s tech said the baby was holding the yolk sac like a balloon. i was so excited because i could see the shape of her. they were reassured because the bleeding had stopped, and every week that went by where the empty sac and blood clot leftover from katie's twin was shrinking, they would be further reassured that katie wouldnt miscarry too.
what happened to my baby??? :,(

ReplyDeleteIt does look as though Katie is holding a ballon in this scan picture. You can really see her little outline too. It is such a beautiful u/s picture, I wish that your little girl was here to see it with you. xo
I'm so sorry Beth. I so wish we all had our babies with us. Catherine said it perfectly, it seems so unbelievable, incomprehensible, and unfair. That is a beautiful u/s picture and I am sure you will always treasure it. xx

ReplyDeleteI am so very sorry. I dread the upcoming days and weeks when I will think back on one year ago. I think Katie looks beautiful in the picture though and I hope that you will always be able to hold the happy times close to your heart.
