her daddy

I wrote earlier about how I showed John some cherry item that I wanted for Mother's Day. I couldn't remember exactly what it was. But I was totally wrong. It was this. Pink, orange, and yellow, for Kathlyn.

I showed him the picture, but not the website where to order it.

He told me that over the past week, he spent lots of time trying to find this picture so he could recreate it. Then he went to tons of stores to find heart candies. He couldn't find them.

But, he came up with this. And I love him so much. (We already had the K-bear and Cherry Bunny and mommy blanket, I just put them in the picture to be cute). It's jelly beans, twizzlers, and yellow and orange daisies. He couldn't believe they didn't have pink, but he knew I love the orange and yellow for her too. Isn't he wonderful?

  1. How sweet...to go through all that, knowing what it would mean to you.

I've always believed it really WAS the thought that counted...and am so glad he was able to bring a smile to your face remembering your sweet ones. Much love!
