nesting

i have to leave for work in a few minutes, but i wanna do it on an upper. ive been sick the past few days. i had two days off, which i didnt get to enjoy at all, then i called out last night. i feel better than i did, but still congested and coughing. ugh.

anyway, last week, we picked up our crib, and john set it up right away. it looks so cute in there, even without its mattress or bedding. we also put the drawers, shelves, and rocking chair in their correct places, and got a baby swing too (from ebay, a surprise win that i NEVER expected.. got the swing brand new for much cheaper than it's worth. it was one of those "oh i'll just bid and there's no way it will go for this price.." wow!) anyway.. since ive been sick, i havent left the house very much, and that makes me depressed. but anytime i walk by the room, i go in and sit in the rocking chair and just look at her stuff. i just cannot wait. it smells so fresh in there too, like new, clean wood (it's the crib.) john pointed that out too.

anyway, everyone is probably thinking that it's way too early to be nesting. but whatever. you know me, im a planner. ive been waiting to have a child for many, many years. the nesting started before i was even pregnant. it makes me happy. so dont think that 24 weeks is too early for ME to nest :)
